Marketing Manager
Your Role
We’re looking for a strategic yet hands-on Marketing Manager with a heavy focus on SEO to define and drive our marketing efforts. This is a dynamic, experimental role where you’ll be both producing content (e.g., blog posts, LinkedIn posts) and thinking strategically with the CEOs on how to position our brand in a brand-new market category. The focus is on testing, learning, and refining—whether it’s A/B testing blog posts, experimenting with LinkedIn posts, or discovering what drives the most leads in the shortest time. Your goal is to continuously test and adapt, ultimately building a strategy that helps us establish ourselves as the leading provider for cognitive insights based on eye tracking.
You’ll be working closely with our marketing agency for design and materials, but we expect you to also be able to have experience in design tools to create designs yourselves. Think of it as building a marketing approach from the ground up, where you can experiment, iterate, and determine what truly resonates with our audience.
What You’ll Do
• SEO & Web Presence: You are a technical SEO expert and will optimize our content and online presence to increase traffic, engagement, and visibility.
• A/B Testing & Experimentation: Put out blog posts, LinkedIn posts, and other content formats to drive leads. Test and measure different approaches to see what works, and refine strategies based on real data.
• Content Creation: Write and produce content that tests different aspects of our messaging and brand positioning, whether for blogs, social media, or website copy.
• Strategic Positioning: Work directly with the CEOs to define and refine SOMAREALITY’s brand positioning and voice in a new, emerging market.
• Lead Generation: Continuously experiment with new ways to generate qualified leads through digital channels—focusing on methods that will work for a startup in a category-defining space.
• Performance Tracking: Keep track of content performance, analyze data, and pivot strategies based on results.
• Collaborate with Agency: Work with our external marketing agency to ensure the design and creative material aligns with your testing, but manage the content and execution.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
• Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on digital and growth-driven strategies.
• Technical SEO expert
• Strong content creation skills (writing blogs, social media posts, etc.).
• A hands-on mindset—comfortable experimenting, testing, and learning in an unstructured startup environment.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to work closely with the leadership team to shape the brand positioning and marketing strategy.
• Strong ability to A/B test, analyze results, and adapt strategies quickly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and finding creative solutions in a fast-paced, evolving market.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with lead generation tools and platforms (CRM, email campaigns, etc.).
• A background in startups or emerging tech
• Knowledge of growth hacking strategies
